LISTING MODERATION POLICY
Rules for listings, prohibited content, moderation, reporting, and third-party listings on TOPBOARD.
https://topboard.top/listing-moderation/
01. What can be listed?
TOPBOARD allows legitimate public-facing companies, websites, products, creators, founders, projects, and other online entities to appear on the public leaderboard.
Listings should represent a real, identifiable project, person, company, website, product, or public-facing online presence.
By submitting a listing, the submitter represents that they have the right or appropriate authorization to submit the listing, or that the submission otherwise complies with TOPBOARD's rules.
TOPBOARD may request additional information when necessary to verify a listing.
02. What we don't allow
TOPBOARD may reject, restrict, suspend, or remove listings that involve:
- Illegal goods or services
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive activity
- Impersonation or misleading identities
- Phishing, malware, malicious software, or harmful websites
- Gambling, betting, or chance-based games involving money or prizes
- Adult or sexual content
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Hate or extremist content
- Threats, promotion of violence, or content intended to facilitate harm
- Malicious or deceptive redirects
- Misleading or fraudulent websites
- Content that violates applicable law
- Content prohibited by our payment provider or payment-processing requirements
- Other content that TOPBOARD reasonably determines presents significant legal, safety, fraud, abuse, or platform-integrity risks
Note: TOPBOARD does not claim to automatically detect every violation. Listings are subject to ongoing review, user reports, and platform monitoring. TOPBOARD may reject, restrict, suspend, or remove listings at its sole reasonable discretion.
03. Website and URL requirements
If a listing contains a website URL, the URL should:
- Resolve to the intended destination
- Not intentionally conceal its destination
- Not redirect users to malicious or deceptive content
- Not be used primarily to distribute malware, phishing pages, or illegal services
- Accurately represent the entity being listed
TOPBOARD may modify, reject, restrict, or remove problematic URLs.
If URL shortening or redirection creates uncertainty about the actual destination, TOPBOARD may request or use the final destination URL.
04. Third-party listings & public data
A listing appearing on TOPBOARD does NOT necessarily mean that the listed entity:
- created the listing
- paid TOPBOARD
- participated in TOPBOARD
- approved the listing
- endorses TOPBOARD
- sponsors TOPBOARD
- is partnered with TOPBOARD
Inclusion on TOPBOARD does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, authorization, or affiliation.
05. Joining TOPBOARD & Leaderboard Placement
Founders, supporters, and teams can create new listings through Join TOPBOARD or financially back existing listings on the monument.
A payment never assigns legal ownership or exclusive control over a listing. Multiple entities with similar names each receive their own unique listing and rank.
Ranking is determined strictly by TOPBOARD's authoritative bidding mechanism and the cumulative verified backing associated with the listing.
Live positions are dynamically recalculated upon successful completion of verified payments.
06. How moderation works
TOPBOARD may review listings before or after publication.
Moderation may be triggered by:
- submission review
- automated checks
- user reports
- payment-provider requirements
- legal complaints
- suspected fraud or abuse
- suspected impersonation
- suspected policy violations
- other signals relating to platform safety or integrity
When appropriate, TOPBOARD may:
- reject a listing
- request additional information
- restrict a listing
- suspend a listing
- remove a listing
- correct or update listing information
- disable related functionality
TOPBOARD may take action without prior notice when reasonably necessary to address fraud, illegal activity, security issues, serious abuse, or other urgent risks. Reporting an issue does not guarantee that every report will result in listing removal.
07. Report a listing
If you believe a listing violates this policy, applicable law, or creates a significant safety, fraud, impersonation, or abuse concern, please contact TOPBOARD:
Please include the listing URL and a brief explanation of the issue so our team can review the report.
08. Intellectual property and impersonation
TOPBOARD does not intend to imply that a listed company, person, product, or organization has authorized or endorsed its appearance on the platform.
If you believe a listing improperly impersonates a person or organization, or otherwise creates a misleading representation, contact TOPBOARD with the relevant listing URL and supporting information.
TOPBOARD may review the report and take appropriate action.
For intellectual-property complaints, TOPBOARD may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate the complaint. TOPBOARD evaluates platform policy compliance and does not make formal legal determinations.
09. Payments and leaderboard ranking
TOPBOARD offers paid digital leaderboard placement and visibility features.
A user may make a one-time payment associated with a listing. The payment may increase the listing's cumulative backed amount and may cause its position on the leaderboard to change according to TOPBOARD's ranking rules.
- are purchases of digital leaderboard placement and visibility
- do not constitute wagers
- do not enter users into a prize pool
- do not create a chance-based outcome
- do not provide winnings
- do not provide financial returns
- are not investments
- are not donations to other users
- are not funds held for withdrawal by leaderboard participants
TOPBOARD does not distribute leaderboard payments as prizes or winnings to users.
Ranking changes are determined by the leaderboard's published ranking mechanism rather than by a random or chance-based outcome.
10. Payment and platform compliance
TOPBOARD may reject or restrict transactions, listings, or functionality where necessary to comply with applicable laws, payment-provider requirements, fraud-prevention requirements, or platform policies.
If a payment provider requires a transaction or listing to be blocked, TOPBOARD may restrict the relevant transaction or listing.
11. Enforcement
TOPBOARD reserves the right to enforce this policy in a manner reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, payment processing, and platform integrity.
Enforcement may include rejection, restriction, suspension, removal, or correction of a listing.
TOPBOARD may update this policy as the platform evolves.
12. Important notice
"Being listed on TOPBOARD does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, participation, authorization, partnership, or affiliation with TOPBOARD."
"TOPBOARD may display unclaimed or third-party listings for informational and leaderboard purposes."
